A restored 1904 Orient Buckboard, a light wooden horseless carriage with a varnished wooden body, red-spoked wheels with white tires, and a green leather seat, is parked on a stone terrace. Behind it are dense evergreen hedges and the stone facade of a building with a wrought-iron balcony. The back caption identifies it as a one-cylinder, 4 H.P. air-cooled model from the Frederick C. Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum.
Thin white border visible at edges; glossy color photo reproduction. No printed text on front; caption and publisher text printed on back. No postmark. Unused divided-back chrome postcard — no stamp, no handwriting, no address. Back printed with "POST CARD," "Address," and "PLACE STAMP HERE." Photo Copyright 1973 — Henry Austin Clark, Jr.; from the Frederick C. Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, Western Reserve Historical Society, University Circle, Cleveland, Ohio 44106; series 132980.
