A composite desert scene shows a cluster of labeled Southwest plants against distant mountains and a blue sky. Printed labels identify ocotillo, yucca, Spanish bayonet, sahuaro (saguaro), Joshua tree, mescal, cholla, and pincushion. The title calls them cacti, but the group includes non-cacti such as ocotillo, yucca, Joshua tree, and mescal. The labels also mix plants from different desert regions: saguaro and ocotillo are Sonoran Desert species, while the Joshua tree is characteristic of the Mojave.
Linen texture; cream border; printed labels on image.
