A Home surrounded by Orange Trees, circa 1910

About this postcard

The picture shows a large white stucco house with red tile roofs, a balustraded terrace, and a broad orange grove in the foreground, its trees heavy with fruit. The printed caption calls it "A Home surrounded by Orange Trees." The architecture suggests a prosperous citrus-growing residence in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, but the card does not name the place.
