About this postcard

Colorized head-and-shoulders portrait of Abraham Lincoln in a dark suit, white shirt, and dark bow tie, with full beard, against a teal-green background. The image reproduces a Civil War-era photograph of Lincoln, the familiar presidential likeness from the years of the war. A printed biography on the card follows him from a log cabin in Hardin County, Kentucky, through New Salem and Springfield, Illinois, to the White House and his death in April 1865.
