A high, wide view looks down over a compact town spread across a flat valley floor, with scattered houses, barns, sheds and a few larger commercial blocks laid out along dirt roads and open fields. Grassy, partly wooded hillsides rise on both sides and recede into a hazy mountain gap in the distance. The scene is typical of a western American valley community of the mid-twentieth century, though the card itself carries no printed caption or imprint identifying the town.
Linen-textured stock with visible crosshatch grain; no white border, no printed caption or imprint on the front.
No postmark; unused card. Undivided back with "THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY" and one-cent stamp box. Linen-texture "C. T. Art-Colortone" stock, no white border on the front. Clean, no damage.
