The card presents an aerial view of St. Petersburg's waterfront, with long piers reaching into the bay, waterfront parks, and a large red-brick building near the shore. The printed caption identifies the scene as "Aerial View of St. Petersburg's Waterfront." St. Petersburg grew as a Florida resort city in the early 20th century, and its waterfront and pier attractions were central to its tourist identity.

We had a very lovely
trip down. Have been
thinking of the Ch &
S.S. particularly this
date as it is our S.S.
monthly conference. It is
quite warm here but the
humidity is low. We
expect to go bathing this
P.M., in the beautiful blue
waters of the Gulf. Give my
regards to all there and also the
class, and the family also joining me - Gat.
