About this postcard

Along Crescent Street, a tree-lined residential block in Waltham, Massachusetts. A large Victorian house with a turret and green shutters stands on the left, and other houses and trees line the broad dirt road. Two pedestrians walk the sidewalk while an early automobile is parked nearby, a small sign of the motor age in a city then known for watch manufacturing. The message from Alberta to Maude Moore in Augusta, Maine, reports she is "still alive" after an Orange trip and wishes Maude were with her in Waltham.

Dear Maude, You see I am still alive as that our Orange trip did not quite finish me. I am up here in Waltham and wish you were here too, you bet we would have a great time all by ourselves. Love from Alberta.
