Card type
Printed photo

About this postcard

A halftone view of Macon's Auditorium, a large Neoclassical building with a long colonnade of tall columns across the front, a pedimented central portico, and a rusticated ground floor with arched openings. A few figures stand on the steps and walk along the sidewalk, and a horse-drawn wagon waits at the curb beneath a bare tree. The card is captioned simply "Auditorium" and was issued by a local Macon book and stationery dealer in the first decade of the twentieth century.
