The picture shows a landscaped ravine with a white suspension footbridge spanning a still pool, banks massed with pink and purple azaleas, palms and tall moss-draped trees. Ravine Gardens at Palatka, Florida, was laid out in the 1930s as a federal relief project in a deep spring-fed ravine and became a state park noted for its annual azalea bloom. The card's own caption calls it "a wonderland of marvelous beauty and gorgeous color."
