The picture shows the Daytona Beach Bandshell, a coquina-stone open-air amphitheater with a great central arch, flanking octagonal towers with tiled cupolas, and a stage facing a broad oceanfront plaza, with the Atlantic visible at right. The bandshell was built in 1937 as a Works Progress Administration project and stands at the north end of the Boardwalk, where it has long hosted concerts and civic events on what the card calls the "World's Most Famous Beach."
