The card shows a white gabled bathhouse with arched openings and an attached wing set on a broad green lawn above a sandy beach. Small figures and red markers dot the shore in the foreground, with autumn-tinted trees and a dark forested ridge behind. The caption places the scene at Bedford County Park, between Lynchburg and Roanoke, Virginia. Bathhouses at inland parks provided changing rooms and rented bathing suits, a common arrangement at early twentieth-century swimming spots.
No printed text or border on the front; visible halftone screen and slightly textured surface suggest a mid-century printed view card.
No postmark or stamp present. Divided-back card with printed "Post Card" heading, "PLACE STAMP HERE" stamp box, series designation "No. 3—", printed caption ("THE BATHHOUSE AND BEACH AT BEDFORD COUNTY PARK — NEAR LYNCHBURG AND ROANOKE, VIRGINIA") and publisher imprint ("H. W. BENN, PUBLISHER, BEDFORD, VA."); light foxing/toning on the back. Front is a color halftone view of a bathhouse and beach. No handwriting anywhere.
