A pond in Milham Park, Kalamazoo, Michigan, with white and dark swans swimming near a stone-lined bank; behind them rise rockwork terraces, a small fountain, lawns and mature trees. Milham Park, laid out in the early 20th century on land given by the Milham family, became one of Kalamazoo's best-known public pleasure grounds, with lagoons, bridges and waterfowl. The linen-textured, white-bordered format and the Curt Teich job number point to a date around 1940.
