About this postcard

A biplane banks in flight above the Hotel Rueger at Ninth and Bank Streets in Richmond, Virginia. The multi-story hotel rises over the street, with a smaller garage structure and trees at ground level. Capitol Square is nearby. The hotel was a commercial hotel near the state capitol, and the biplane overhead places the scene in the early years of powered flight, when exhibition flights drew spectators.
