A Christmas greeting design shows five colorful birds perched among holly leaves and red berries against a textured gold ground, with a central vignette of a snow-covered church and bare winter trees. The combination of birds, holly, and a wintry church scene is typical of early twentieth-century embossed Christmas postcards.
