A high, panoramic view looks down over a sprawling town of low flat-roofed buildings, a few taller mid-rise blocks, and a church tower at the right, with a long brown mountain wall rising behind the town beneath a blue sky of scattered clouds. The scene is typical of the growing desert cities of the American Southwest in the mid-twentieth century, where downtown commercial blocks spread out toward the surrounding ranges. No caption or imprint on the picture side identifies the city.
