A softly tinted lithograph shows a bare, gnarled tree beside a low bank of pink blossoms, with petals drifting across a pale blue-to-rose sky and a sandy slope in the foreground. The card's own naming is the script greeting "Birthday Greetings" printed at upper right. Such greeting cards of the early 1900s typically paired sentimental verse on the reverse with seasonal landscape vignettes like this spring blossom scene.
