About this postcard
A color view of the Blue Hills Golf Club clubhouse, a long two-story frame building with a red hipped roof and broad verandas, approached by a curving drive across open lawns planted with bare deciduous trees. The Blue Hills Club was a private country club established in the early 1900s in what is now the Blue Hills neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, and its course and clubhouse were among the city's early golfing venues. The bare trees and low golden light suggest a late-autumn or winter view.
