About this postcard

A boy in a blue coat and red scarf peers into a shop window filled with toys, including a horn and a jack-in-the-box. A man in a top hat and a woman in a yellow dress carrying a basket look on. Bare winter branches frame the upper left, and snow covers the ground. The printed greeting reads "Heaps of Christmas Wishes" above a short verse wishing joy and cheer. The scene reflects the early 20th-century custom of sending illustrated Christmas cards.
