The photograph shows a large, multi-story institutional building arranged around a deep central court, with a colonnaded upper storey at the rear and rows of evenly spaced windows across the wings; the view is taken from an open space in front. The card's own caption names it "Brandeis College, N.Y. City," and it was issued as No. 58 by the National Art Views Co. of New York. Beyond the printed identification, no further history of the institution is documented on the card.
