A view north along Broad Street in Atlanta, Georgia, with multi-story commercial blocks lining both sides, awnings over the shopfronts, pedestrians crossing the roadway, and a horse-drawn or early motor vehicle in the distance. Trolley and telegraph wires crisscross above the street. In the early 1900s Broad Street was the center of Atlanta's wholesale and business district, and the dense masonry blocks reflect the city's growth as a railroad and commercial hub in the decades after the Civil War.
Cream border at bottom carrying the printed caption in red; handwritten note in ink across the lower border. Undivided-back era stock with a lightly textured, tinted surface.
Postmark: AMESBURY MASS SEP 9 5:30 PM 1907. Undivided back with 'This side exclusively for the Address.' Private publisher imprint (American Post Card Co., O.K. Series No. 182, Made in Germany). White border, color litho; light edge wear.
