About this postcard

The Bronson Library stands on a grassy rise, a three-story red brick building with a columned entrance portico and a long side wing heavily covered in ivy. A dirt road runs across the foreground. The library took its name from Silas Bronson, a Waterbury-born merchant whose bequest established the city's public library, and it remained a civic landmark in Waterbury, Connecticut.
