About this postcard
A novelty "Busy Tourist's Correspondence Card" built around a small color view of snow-streaked Rocky Mountain peaks rising above a dark conifer shoreline and a blue lake, headed "Greetings from the Rocky Mts., Colorado." The printed panels form a fill-in checklist for travelers, with boxes for addressee, mood, opinions of Colorado, business, wishes, and activities such as "At Estes Park" and "At Pike's Peak." Wanda's message to her sister and parents reports that she has her permanent pass and a room with another girl, and she asks them to write every day. The card's mix of scenic view and tick-box greetings reflects the popularity of inexpensive novelty cards that let tourists send a partly pre-written note.
