A tall green cactus stands in bloom, its upper joints tipped with large pink flowers and yellow centers. Low purple hills and a pale blue sky fill the background. No location is named, so the view reads as a generic desert scene. Desert cacti flower briefly in spring, and the bright blossom made a striking subject for scenic postcards.
