A view across the water toward a wooded shore dotted with small white cottages and camp buildings at Camp Arcadia on the Upper Hamlin, identified on the card as "A BEAUTY SPOT OF HAMLIN LAKE." Hamlin Lake lies just north of Ludington, and in the early 1900s its shores drew summer visitors to cottages and camp grounds. The sender's note about an "enjoyable Lake Voyage" fits the resort traffic of the period.
