Campbell-Hagerman College, Lexington, Kentucky, circa 1906

About this postcard

The view shows the campus buildings of Campbell-Hagerman College in Lexington, Kentucky: a central Greek Revival-style hall with a columned portico, flanked by taller brick dormitory or classroom blocks, with lawns, young trees and a low fence in front. The college was a women's school in Lexington in the early 20th century, and this halftone view was evidently circulated as a local souvenir. The card is dated November 1906 in handwriting along the bottom edge.
