About this postcard

Two paddlers guide a canoe across a deep blue lake, seen through white birch trunks and dark spruce. A bright yellow canoe rests on a sandy shore in the foreground. Eagle River is the seat of Vilas County in Wisconsin's North Woods, a lake country long promoted for canoeing, fishing, and summer resorts. The Curt Teich production code "7B-H100" dates the printing to 1937.
