A pictorial auto map of Cape Cod fills the card, with an inset view of the Pilgrim Memorial Monument at Provincetown. The map labels towns, roads, bays, and lighthouses from Brockton and Plymouth east to Provincetown and Chatham, a guide for motor tourists exploring the Cape; Highland Light is among the marked coastal landmarks. The monument, completed in 1910, commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims' first landing in Provincetown Harbor.
Linen-textured stock; white border; printer's plate number 30812 printed at the lower right corner of the map.
No postmark. Unused divided-back card with printed "THIS SPACE FOR WRITING" / "POST CARD" / "THIS SIDE IS FOR THE ADDRESS" and a one-cent (two cents foreign) stamp box; "MADE IN USA" printed vertically at the divider. Light soiling and edge wear, small stain at upper left.
