About this postcard

The Cathedral Spires stand as a cluster of red sandstone fins in Garden of the Gods, near Colorado Springs. Several riders on horseback appear in the foreground, with pine-covered hills behind. The park was already a well-known scenic attraction for visitors to the Pikes Peak region when this card was mailed. The sender writes of a heavy snowstorm in the mountains a few days earlier and says they look beautiful from there.
