The Charity Crucifixion Tower rises at Woodward and 12 Mile Road, its stone shaft dominated by a large crucifixion group. Geometric carvings and smaller figures ornament the facade, and evergreens and bare trees frame the base. The tower belongs to the National Shrine of the Little Flower, the Catholic complex in Royal Oak that grew around Father Charles Coughlin's ministry in the early 1930s. The card's caption gives the address as Detroit, the metropolitan city the suburban site served.
