About this postcard
View down the Charles River from Prospect Street Bridge in Waltham, Massachusetts. Mt. Feake Cemetery occupies the right bank, and a red brick building with a porch stands among trees on that side. On the left is the Waltham Watch Company's large factory complex, and further along the river is the Waltham Canoe Club's clubhouse. Church spires and a tower rise in the distance under a pale sky. The watch works were among Waltham's defining industries, and the river corridor mixed factory buildings, cemetery grounds, and recreation.
