A spotted cheetah stands on a flat rock ledge in front of a wall of rough stacked stones, likely a zoo enclosure. The animal faces slightly left toward the camera.
White border around the image; glossy color photo-chrome finish. No printed text on the front.
No postmark; card is unused. Mid-century glossy chrome card with white border; divided back with printed caption on the left half and 'This Space For Address Only' on the right. No handwriting anywhere. The back also carries the series line 'ANIMAL COLOR SERIES from the San Diego Zoo', the caption 'Cheetah, Asia', and the credit 'KODACHROME BY G. E. KIRKPATRICK. LITHO IN U. S. A. BY HESTER & SMITH, INC., SAN DIEGO, CALIF.'; 'Kodachrome' here credits Kirkpatrick's color transparency, not the card stock.
