Christ Episcopal Church in Waltham is a stone Gothic Revival building with a tall shingled spire and attached parish buildings, seen across a green lawn at a street corner. A red brick building stands to the right, and large shade trees frame the scene. The sender wrote, "Here's Where I go To Church," a personal note that ties the building to a regular worshiper. Waltham was a manufacturing city west of Boston, known for watchmaking, and the church served a local Episcopal congregation.
White margin at bottom carrying the printed caption; undivided-back era stock. Handwritten message on the front over the lower margin. Corner wear and light staining at bottom edge.
Postmark: WALTHAM MASS AUG 10 12 M 1908. Undivided back ('THIS SIDE FOR THE ADDRESS'), green 1c Franklin stamp, 'Printed in Germany' imprint at left edge; light soiling and a crease at lower left.
