Dear Friend: - I was very glad to hear from you. We are all having hot and dry weather, the gardens are getting burnt up. I hope you all are all well but hot weather is hard on us. The baby was grown a nice [illegible] 3 months old Sunday. My wife and nephew visited us a few weeks ago. Maggie and her niece are big help. With love Mrs. [illegible] F. K.
