About this postcard

The San Diego City Hall, a white stucco building with red tile roofs and a central tower, seen across a wide plaza with a bed of red and yellow tulips in the foreground. The Civic Center complex was built in the 1930s as part of a civic beautification program; the City Administration Building, designed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style with a Moderne-influenced tower, still stands on C Street. The card's caption names it simply as the City Hall of the Civic Center.
