A three-story, flat-roofed civic building of light stone or brick with rows of vertical windows, set behind a lawn with a low stone retaining wall and steps, two American flags flying from poles on the roof, and 1930s automobiles parked at the curb. The caption names it as the City Hall of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The building's streamlined, stripped-classical massing is typical of Depression-era municipal architecture, and the Curt Teich production number 7A-H1798 dates the view to about 1937.
Linen-textured stock with a white border; printed card number 7A-H1798 at lower right.
No postmark or cancellation; card is unused. Divided-back linen-texture Curteich "C.T. Art-Colortone" card (number 7A-H1798 on front), white border, circa late 1930s-1940s. Clean, no damage.
