About this postcard

Wooded slopes and layered rock ledges frame the ravine of Clifty Canyon in Clifty Falls State Park. The park was established in 1920 to protect the Clifty Creek gorge and its waterfalls in southeastern Indiana. Madison, the Ohio River town just outside the park, grew as a river port and retains a large collection of 19th-century buildings.
