An older man sits with a baby on his lap while three other children crowd around him. One child plays a drum and another holds a horn; at upper left a stork flies in carrying a swaddled infant. The printed caption, "I HAVE ALL THAT IS COMING TO ME," voices the father's weary joke about a growing family, and the card is marked "Souvenir of HOT SPRINGS, VA." Hot Springs, in Bath County, Virginia, was a mineral-spring resort, and comic souvenir cards like this were common purchases for visitors.
Printed caption (vertical 'Souvenir of HOT SPRINGS, VA.' along left edge) and number 400; comic caption 'I HAVE ALL THAT IS COMING TO ME'; handwritten message in purple ink ('May your future be bright'), partially cut off at bottom edge; light staining and edge wear; no white border visible.
Postmark: HOT SPRINGS VA OCT 7 7:30 PM 1907; receiving mark HINTON, W. VA. OCT 24 1 PM 1905 (REC'D). Undivided back, comic chromo card. Pencil dealer marks '113 / 5.00' top left (stock number and price); light edge wear and toning.
