About this postcard

An older man sits with a baby on his lap, surrounded by three other children. One child plays a drum and another holds a horn, while a stork flies in at upper left carrying a swaddled infant in a sling. The printed caption reads "I HAVE ALL THAT IS COMING TO ME" and "Souvenir of HOT SPRINGS, VA." The joke turns on a father's resigned acceptance of a growing family, with another baby arriving by stork. Hot Springs, in Bath County, Virginia, was a mineral-spring resort, and comic souvenir cards were common purchases for visitors.
