A staged comic scene: a man in a suit leans over to kiss a woman seated on top of an upright piano. Sheet music is scattered on the keys below, and the room has patterned wallpaper and a framed picture. The printed caption reads "TRY THIS ON YOUR PIANO," turning the pose into a visual joke about playing the instrument. Bamforth & Co. of Holmfirth was known for comic postcards in the early 1900s.
