About this postcard

Broad curving gravel walks divide beds of flowering shrubs in this view of Como Park, with a small island planting and a single tree at the center. Low posts and rails edge the beds, and a treeline closes the horizon. Como Park was one of St. Paul's public grounds, and its sweeping paths and flower beds reflect the early twentieth-century city park, laid out for strolling and outdoor gatherings.
