About this postcard
The Connecticut State Library in Hartford is a classical building with a columned entrance, set on a lawn with trees and a flagpole flying the American flag. A street runs in front, and the library sits near the State Capitol in the city's civic center. The message on the back is a job-hunting note to Eddie. The writer has been sent around to this building, reports no work out here, and says a trip to the Pratt & Whitney plant came to nothing. The note also mentions waiting 15 minutes at Ethel's house on the New Britton line and promises to come by around two.
