A long steel bridge with a central truss span and arched approaches crosses Coos Bay. Low hills and trees lie in the distance, and foliage frames the right side of the view. The span was first called the Coos Bay Bridge and is now known as the Conde B. McCullough Memorial Bridge. It opened in 1936 as a link in the Oregon Coast Highway, carrying US 101 across the bay at North Bend.
