About this postcard
A five-story brick hotel stands on a street corner in Tiffin, Ohio, with arched ground-floor windows, awnings over the storefronts, small balconies above the entrances, and a bracketed cornice at the roofline. A horse-drawn carriage waits at the corner, and the adjoining commercial block carries a 'MYSTIC' sign. The sender calls it a 'fine hotel for size of the town' and expects to reach home by Thursday or Friday. Tiffin was the Seneca County seat and a railroad town on the Sandusky River; a five-story hotel was among its larger downtown buildings in 1910.
