About this postcard

The Manitowoc County Courthouse stands behind a lawn, its light stone facade fronted by a columned portico and topped by a copper-green dome and lantern. Trees frame the left side of the view. Manitowoc is a Lake Michigan port city between Green Bay and Milwaukee, and the courthouse's classical style gave the county seat a formal civic presence.
