About this postcard

A large neoclassical county courthouse of light stone, seen from across a lawn with trees framing the left side; a copper-green dome with a lantern rises above the central block, and a columned portico fronts the facade. The building is the Manitowoc County Courthouse in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, a Lake Michigan port city between Green Bay and Milwaukee. The card's linen texture and Curt Teich production number date the printing to the mid-20th century.
