About this postcard
A line drawing of the Court of Two Sisters courtyard in New Orleans shows an arched passage, wrought-iron gates, a brick wall, and crossed swords and arms mounted above. A red panel in script advertises the restaurant as "the romantic rendezvous of New Orleans," with Creole and French cuisine, dining and dancing, and a patio. The printed back text notes the building was erected in 1832 on the site of the residence of Sieur Etienne De Perier, governor of the French colonial period from 1725 to 1733, at 613 Royal and 614 Bourbon streets.
