View south from the top of Llao Rock across Crater Lake, with Wizard Island rising as a small volcanic cinder cone with a reddish summit in the deep blue water. The lake fills the collapsed caldera of Mount Mazama, ringed by steep rock walls. Llao Rock is a lava flow on the rim, named for a figure in Klamath tradition. A traveler's note on the card mentions crossing the mountains to reach the lake, a common journey for visitors to this national park in the 1920s.
