"From the western Prairies to the shores of Puget Sound we have wandered our way on our summer journey bound. We have seen broad plains and mountains we have been [illegible] two weeks we have travelled long and have taken auto rides - we have missed you Charles Alice on the train [illegible] we send you heartiest greetings [illegible] journey - from afar"
