About this postcard

A view across the still water of Dream Lake toward the sheer, snow-streaked face of Hallett Peak, framed by a tall pine in the right foreground and dense conifers along the far shore. Dream Lake sits at about 9,900 feet in the Bear Lake area of Rocky Mountain National Park, and Hallett Peak (12,713 ft) rises above it on the Continental Divide; the park was established in 1915. The printed caption names the scene directly.
