Easter greeting with church organ, stained glass window and lilies, circa 1910

About this postcard

An Easter illustration of a church interior. A tall arched stained-glass window sends rays of light across a gothic-cased pipe organ set above a paneled gallery, with a red marble column and carved capital at one side. In the foreground, white Easter lilies and daffodils lie across an open book printed with the greeting "Peace Be Yours." The church setting and lilies were common Easter imagery in the early 1900s, when holiday postcards carried brief messages between friends and family.
